The Kingwood Township Vol. Fire Company No. 1 was established in 1938 to provide fire suppresion for the township of Kingwood. Through the years our coverage area has expanded into portions of Alexandria and Deleware Townships. The members of this department are all professionally trained, 100% VOLUNTEER, donating countless hours to assist our residents in their time of need. Want to get to know us better? Kingwood Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 a non-profit 100% volunteer fire fighting agency. The Kingwood Township Vol. Fire Company No. 1 was established in 1938 to provide fire suppresion for the Township of Kingwood.
Hunterdon County Commissioners supporting Fire and EMS agencies with the award of $500,000 in grants to 36 organizations.
Kingwood Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 was awarded $12,000 to procure radio equipment. These all band radios will equip our department with capabilities to communicate with agencies throughout the state and our mutual aid partners in Bucks County PA.
We appreciate the support of the commissioners and Public Safety Director Fahey to continue improving public safety readiness throughout the county.

Since 1938, our mission is to serve and protect the residents of Kingwood Township by fighting fires, raising awareness of fire prevention, and assisting our community in times of need. We are staffed by dedicated friends and neighbors who live within our community, and volunteer 100% of their time.
